Research Question: How do sororities at Mizzou influence and effect the academic performance of its individual members?

            The only decent source that I have found is an article from the Journal of College Student Development. This study explored the impact of fraternity and sorority affiliation on students' development of “intercultural competence” over four years of college at 11 institutions. Before I read the source I thought it was perfect. After reading it a little more I can see that I may have some moments of disagreement and error. I do feel like I need to reread the source and further analyze it. The article showed that in trails there was no correlation between Greek Life students academics compared to non-Greek Life members. The source also lacks detail. It never really gives the audience any points of credibility.
            
            Meanwhile, I am starting to research more and there is not much to go on. I am just going to keep pushing. I really can’t seem to find any sources that are both credible and relevant. Hopefully things will start to get a little easier. I feel like most of the sources I have found also have such a strong bias. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not. I mean, of course they need to have a strong bias but I want to know the author has also considered the opposing view. Another issue I am having is a majority of the sources coming up are from national Greek organizations, so they are sure to promote the organization and not expose the truth. My views have been shifting from side to side, but it is hard to make sense of it all with a lack of credibility. 
          
             I am struggling with fixing my research question. I can’t seem to figure how to express what I am saying yet also meet the expectations. I am unsure of how to narrow the whole idea of my question. It is already so narrowed. I trimmed and changed it from: “How does Greek Life at Mizzou effect the academic GPA of its individual members?” to “How do sororities at Mizzou influence and effect the academic performance of its individual members?”. I feel like this question will work better. 

           Overall I am having a bit of a difficult time. Hopefully the sources will start to come together. Maybe I just need to shift the question into a different direction.
